2. The Queen travels without a passport 


Lilibet is exempt from that shocking and sudden pre-holiday panic that her passport isn’t in date. She is allowed to travel without one as they are issued in her own name.

3. She owns her Poet 

The honorary position of poet laureate is expected to write material for significant national occasions and is welcomed as a member of the royal household.

William Wordsworth, Alfred Tennyson and Ted Hughes have previously held the position, and Carol Ann Duffy has been in the role since 2009.

4. She doesn’t have to pay the tax

The Queen commenced paying taxes in 1992, however she is not expected to pay any.

5. She celebrates two Birthdays


Her official birthday is on 21st April and the second one is celebrated on the second Saturday in June as her “official” royal birthday.

6. She owns her Cash Point 

Imagine whenever you require money, there’s an ATM inside your house itself. The private cash machine is installed in the basement of the Buckingham Palace by Coutts. This is one perk that other members of the royal family can also enjoy.

11. She has the power to VETO any ministerial Advise/opinion

The Queen can exercise her power if and when any “grave constitutional crisis” occurs.

12. The Queen holds  the power to appoint the Lords 

Lords are those who sit in the upper house in Britain’s legislative system, the Parliament. This power is exercised only “on the advice of” elected government ministers.
