A 35-year-old man, Pankaj Shukla was found murdered inside a Hanuman temple located at Bhuapur Devgaon under Kumarganj police station of Ayodhya district. The reason of the murder is still unknown.
After getting the information, police officers reached the spot and took the possession of the body. Panchnama has been filled and the body has been sent for post-mortem.
According to reports, Pankaj Shukla, son of Raj Narayan Shukla, a resident of Shivratanganj village of Angoori police station area of Amethi district, had come to his maternal grandmother Shyam Narayan Mishra’s place two days ago in Bhuapur Devgaon of Kumarganj.
Due to extreme heat, he went to sleep in Hanuman temple late last night, where unknown people killed the young man by slitting his throat with a sharp weapon in the night. On getting information in the morning, the local police also reached the spot and investigated.
In this case, police officer Satyendra Bhushan Nath Tripathi says that deceased Pankaj Shukla was living in Nanihal and a cut mark was found on his neck. The body has been taken over and sent for post-mortem and anything can be said until the report comes. Police said people at the youth center have been notified. Further action will be taken after the report is received.
