
After Congress Working Committee (CWC) meeting today, decision has been taken that after the five due state elections, president will be elected. According to multiple sources, after an argument between two groups, Rahul Gandhi said: “Once and for all, finish it and move on.”

At the CWC meeting today, several party leaders such as Ghulam Nabi Azad, Anand Sharma, Mukul Wasnik and P Chidambaram were present, asked for immediate organisational polls. They were among those who have asked questions which raised an argumentative uncomfort over party’s leadership and management after multiple elections defeat and continuation of poor performance.
However, leaders such as Ashok Gehlot, Amarinder Singh, AK Antony, Tariq Anwar and Oommen Chandy weren’t in favour of above mentioned lot, said that the Congress’s president election ought to be conducted after polls in five states.
Finally, KC Venugopal in a press conference has announced just now that a president will be elected till June, 2021.
