Superstar Akshay Kumar has donated Rs 1 crore to Assam Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. This amount is for the people affected by floods in the northeastern state.
The chief minister took to his Twitter account to thank the actor for his contribution.

The actor had given a sum of Rs 25 crore to PM CARES Fund. He also made hefty donations to CM’s relief fund.
The actor had a few days back decided to contribute Rs 1 crore each to Bihar and Assam CM Relief Fund to help fight the flood situation in their states. As per the source, both Cheif Ministers expressed gratitude and appreciated the actor’s gesture.
