Amit Shah recovers after post-Covid care, discharged from AIIMS

Home Minister Amit Shah, who was admitted to AIIMS for post-COVID-care, was discharged from the hospital this morning.

On August 2, the 55-year-old BJP leader had tested positive for coronavirus. He had undergone treatment for the infection at Medanta Hospital and was discharged after he tested negative for the virus.

On Saturday, the AIIMS said that Mr. Shah “has recovered”. “Amit Shah, Union Home Minister, is admitted at AIIMS, New Delhi for post-COVID care. He has recovered and is likely to be discharged in a short time”.

He was discharged from AIIMS today at 7 AM. He was admitted to the hospital on August 18 after he complained of “fatigue and body ache”.
