Reportedly Arjun Kapoor joins the star cast of Bhoot Police and will be seen Sharing screens with Saif Ali Khan, Fatima Sana Sheikh and Ali fazal in a horror comedy project. Bhoot Police is a story of two ghost hunters which will be directed by Pavan Kriplani.
It speculated earlier that Ali Fazal and Saif Ali Khan will be seen playing ghost hunters and Arjun Kapoor can be seen playing a ghost. However makers have not confirmed it yet. Fatima will be seen playing a woman enchanter in Bhoot Police.
Bollywood’s Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh wrote on Twitter, “IT’S OFFICIAL… #SaifAliKhan and #ArjunKapoor in horror-comedy #BhootPolice… The duo will share screen space for the first time… Directed by Pavan Kirpalani… Produced by Ramesh Taurani and Akshai Puri… Filming begins 2020-end (sic).”

While Talking about the film, director Pavan Kriplani, “Ramesh Taurani, Akshai Puri and I are excited to bring this spooky adventure comedy on the celluloid for everyone to experience the thrills and laughs on the big screen.”
On casting Arjun and Saif together, he said, “I am thrilled to have Saif and Arjun come together for this entertaining feature. Both of them will be seen bringing their trademark fun elements to the brand new avatars they will portray in this film.”
Film’s first look was revealed in April last year. Fatima Sana Sheikh and Ali Fazal shared the first look of the film and wrote on Twitter. Fatima wrote, “Ghost hunting is a hilariously spooky business! Winking face Presenting the cast of #BhootPolice GhostPolice officer #PavanKirpalani #SaifAliKhan @alifazal9 (sic).”

Fatima Sana Shaikh had said, “I really liked the director and I enjoyed watching his film Phobia. I don’t do a film according to the genre that it is. I just go by my instinct with the script. Personally jo mujhe excite karta hai, main wohi karti hoon.”
The film will go on floors by the end of this year. Makers told that Bhoot Police will be a franchise. It will be the first horror comedy to be released in 3D.
Arjun Kapoor’s entry in the star cast of Bhoot Police again started the talks of nepotism on social media. People ranted and criticised the actor on Twitter stating “the ugly output of nepotism”. Saif Ali Khan and Arjun Kapoor’s casting have been questioned.
