Gehlot’s letter made it clear that the government is in a minority: Poonia
BJP state president Satish Poonia said on Wednesday that it has become clear from the letter written by the Chief Minister of the state Ashok Gehlot to Prime Minister Narendra Modi that his government is in a minority.
Pooniyan has said this in a three-page letter issued to the people of the state. In it, he said, “It has become clear from the letter written by Chief Minister Gehlot to the Prime Minister today that the government is in a minority and is trying to save existence.”
A letter was issued by Pooni. In it, referring to the political tussle that has been going on in the state for almost a fortnight, it is said, ‘You all know that the Congress party itself is somehow guilty of this chaos and the Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and his party’s responsible people without any reason, Bharatiya Janata Party Are blaming on
According to Pooniyan, ‘The fear of losing power in his own fight has upset the Chief Minister and his party.’
According to the BJP leader, ‘Chief Minister Gehlot repeatedly calls for political morality and democracy. The Bharatiya Janata Party sponsors not only accusations of horse-trading but also BJP leaders conspiring to discredit the leaders, which has been proved by the events of the past days. ‘
It is known that the Congress government of Rajasthan is facing a rebellion by its 19 MLAs including Sachin Pilot. The Congress has accused the BJP of being behind the conspiracy to topple the government.
The Congress, citing an audiotape, demanded the arrest of Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat and alleged that he, along with Bhanwarlal Sharma, a rebel MLA from the party, is involved in the conspiracy to topple the Ashok Gehlot government.
Rajasthan Police’s Special Operations Group (SOG) has filed two separate FIRs based on the complaint of the Chief Whip (Whip) of Rajasthan Government Mahesh Joshi. Bhanwarlal Sharma, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, and Sanjay Jain have been named on the charge of toppling the government in an FIR.
In both the FIRs, the accused is placed in the ‘unknown’ category and the charges are mentioned under sections 124A (sedition) and 120B (criminal conspiracy) of the IPC.
SOG has arrested BJP leader Sanjay Jain for his alleged name in the audiotape. Additional Director General of Police (ATS and SOG) Ashok Rathod said that Sanjay Jain was produced in the court on Wednesday from where he was sent to police custody for two days.
The BJP demanded that these tapes be investigated by the CBI and alleged that the Rajasthan government was tapping people’s phones.
Along with this, the central government has sought a report from the chief secretary of the state on Saturday regarding the allegations of phone tapping.
However, Shekhawat has said that his voice is not there in the audio and he is ready for any investigation. Sharma and BJP have called this audio fake.
At the same time, Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat said on Monday that the audio clip on which SOG has lodged an FIR against the MLAs in the alleged procurement case should first prove its veracity.
