China-Pakistan’s armed drone deal amid Border tensions in India

Pakistan is in complete assistance of China as it is helping the country by selling the state-of-the-art, defence equipments such armed drones. China is already been in close quarters with India at the borders of Eastern ladakh.

As per the Reports of Intelligence bureau, Pakistan is acquiring basically the medium-altitude, long-endurance unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) Chai Hong-4 (CH-4) from China in bulk.

Mohammad Zafar Iqbal, Brigadier of Pakistan Army led a 10 membered team to China for reviewing procurement process. A team of specialists went to China for Factoy Acceptance Test for items obtained from Aerospace Long-march International Trade Company (ALIT), China as conferred by sources.

It also claimed that Iqbal had earlier visited China for procurement test in December for the first tranche of Cai Hong-4 for which delivery was to commence in 2020.

The take off mass of CH-4 is between 1200 -1300 kg depending on the variant. ALIT has offered command and control options to Pakistan along with Line of sight and satellite communication equipments.

Pakistan was also planning to deploy the line of sight UAV near at the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir to further provoke the fire of disruption in India. Sources also revealed that the China is definitely helping Pakistan to do so.
