CM Yogi Adityanath Meets Akshay Kumar In Mumbai For UP ‘Film City’

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath landed in Mumbai on Tuesday and is scheduled to host a meeting with the eminent industrialists, bankers, businessman and film personalities regarding the most ambitious project of the state government, The Film City as per reported by the state government’s official spokesperson.

Bollywood Superstar Akshay Kumar was the first one among others to meet UP CM Yogi Adityanath last night. Both had an elaborated discussion on the state’s potential for the film production and how the state government was providing facilities to film producers. As per an official statement released from the Chief Minister’s office, Yogi Adityanath applauded Akshay Kumar’s films drawing special mention to ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’.

Reportedly, CM will also take the report on Lucknow Municipal Corporation (LMCs) listing in the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).

The state’s government official said, “Meetings with film personalities are important in regard to the setting up of a hi-tech film city in Noida. He (Yogi) is going to meet 41 celebrities of the film world. The CM already met several film personalities regarding the infotainment city to be built on 1,000 acres of land in Sector 21 of Yamuna Authority of Noida.”

The UP government’s official spokesperson said that a selected Ernst & Young as an advisory agency have already been deployed to prepare the detailed project report on the Infortainment City. Many proposals from the businessmans are expected regarding film city and film personalities such as Boney Kapoor, Manmohan Shetty, Anand Pandit, Subhash Ghai, Madhur Bhandarkar, Rahul Mitra and Ajay Rai, T-Series head Bhushan Kumar, among others, will meet the CM.
