DNC 2020 highlights: Read out some hits and misses

Addressing to her party convention DNC 2020, the first US woman of color on a major-party ticket condemned President Donald Trump’s “failure of leadership”.

What did Kamala Harris say?

“We’re at an inflection point,” she said while speaking live from a large vacant hotel ballroom in Mr. Biden’s hometown of Wilmington, Delaware.

Bursting on Donald Trump she addressed as “The constant chaos leaves us adrift. Incompetence makes us feel afraid. Callousness makes us feel alone. It’s a lot.

“And here’s the thing: We can do better and deserve so much more.

There is no vaccine for racism,” she said. “We’ve got to do the work.”

She continued: “Donald Trump’s failure has cost lives and livelihoods.”

“Right now, we have a president who turns our tragedies into political weapons,” she added.

President Trump swiftly answered back tweeting about previous attack by Kamala Harris once issues on Mr. Biden. While we know they were both rivals for the Democratic White House nomination.

DNC 2020: Some significants

Barack Obama, last Democratic President as well as Hillary Clinton, last Democratic President Nominee and perhaps more probabilistic next Presidential Nominee Kamala Harris all spoke candidly and ignited the star-studded night with their robust speeches.

At DNC 2020, then president Mr. Obama specifically criticized now US President Donald Trump on his failure to provide jobs and biased use of power to benefit people with whom he had good terms.
