Eknath Shinde is the next Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Oath At 7:30 pm, says Fadnavis  

Eknath Shinde, a Shiv Sena MLA, would serve as the new chief minister of Maharashtra with the backing of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), according to Devendra Fadnavis, who made the announcement during a joint news conference. At 7:30 p.m. today, Shinde will take the oath.

Shine will be the only one to take the oath of office today, according to Fadnavis, who also stated that the cabinet’s size will be decided after further debate.

Mr. Fadnavis declared, “I will stay out of politics and make sure the administration functions properly.
