Famous Bhajan Singer Narendra Chanchal Passes Away, PM offered Condolences

Popular Bhajan Singer, famous especially for singing bhajans of Goddess Durga, Narendra Chanchal passes away in Delhi at the age of 80. Sanjay Malik, who is the organiser of Narendra Chanchal’s concert organiser for last 25 years saud that the singer died at around 12 pm due to health issues which comes naturally after a certain age.

While speaking with media he said, “His health hadn’t been well for some time now. He had been admitted to the Apollo Hospital for two months. He had fallen quite weak. He breathed his last today.”

Chanchal was famous for singing religious bhajans and songs. Performing live at several international and national stages, he was famous for his bhajans like ‘Chalo Bulava Aaya Hai’ and ‘Beshak Mandir Masjid Todo’ for Bobby. He received Filmfare award for Bobby as well.

PM Narendra Modi took Twitter to express heartfelt condolences.

Singer Daler Mehandi shared this news on Twitter, wrote: “Deeply saddened to learn that iconic and most loved #NarendraChanchal ji has left us for the heavenly abode. In prayers for his soul to rest in peace. Heartfelt condolences to his family and legions of fans.”
