Greta Thunberg supports postpone of JEE, NEET 2020 exams

The Swedish environmental Activist, Greta Thunberg resumes school after actively working for the campaign to curb climate change. She feels really good to be back at school.

Greta has now supported the postpone of JEE, NEET 2020 exams to be held in India. She has shown the concern by saying that it would be unfair asking students to give an exam during this pandemic.

Greta tweets ” It’s deeply unfair that students of India are asked to sit national exams during the Covid-19 pandemic and while millions have also been impacted by the extreme floods. I stand with their call to #PostponeJEE_NEETinCOVID.”

Along with Greta, many Indian politicians have also supported postpone of JEE and NEET exams. Mamata Banerjee, Chief Minister of West Bengal, Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik, Subramanian Swamy, Yuva Neta Aaditya Thackeray, DMK President MK Stalin have already raised their voice against the exam.

The JEE exams are scheduled from 1 September to 6 September, 2020. While NEET exams are scheduled from 13 September 2020, across the country.
