New Delhi: Heavy rain in Delhi and its neighboring districts of Haryana, Ghaziabad, and Noida this morning led to a fall in the temperature. This is bringing relief to people from hot and humid weather.
India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicted, ‘generally cloudy sky with heavy rain’ for the national capital.
According to IMD, the capital is expected to receive moderate to heavy rainfall and is also expected to cover the cumulative rainfall deficit that the city has recorded in August till Thursday.

Kuldeep Srivastava, head of IMD’s regional weather forecasting centre said that “Tuesday’s rain was mostly concentrated in parts of west and southwest Delhi, but from Wednesday, we will see moderate to heavy rains across the capital “.
Most of the areas in the national capital are waterlogged, PTI reported. Delhi’s traffic police have put out traffic alerts on their Twitter handle.
