Indian Students and Researches can apply for Visa: France

New Delhi: Since, February all the countries have shut down their Visa offices due to COVID. Indian students and researchers faced a very hard time traveling to France and other countries.

France government has now opened its Visa applications becoming the first country to open borders for Indians. Now, students and researchers from India can apply their Visa for a short and long stay. This information was given to India through a tweet.

Ambassador of France, Emmanuel Lenain tweeted “Finally, the wait is over! Delighted to announce that our visa service is now open for receiving applications for the short-stay and long-stay student visa category. ”

He Further tweeted “Talent passport, professors or researchers, “Assistant de Français” – visa applicants who fall under these categories are welcome to apply as well.”

On August 17, seven French Visa centers started operating which includes Mumbai, Kolkata, Delhi, Hyderabad, Chennai, Bengaluru, and Kochi.

France government-issued following guidelines, passengers from India should carry COVID 19 PCR tested 72 hours before traveling or can test on arrival. They further asked India to follow the social distancing norm at Visa centers.
