Today, a sizable mob attacked the two Islamist murderers of tailor Kanhaiya Lal outside the Jaipur court. But the cops managed to prevent serious injuries by dragging them into a waiting vehicle.
The 48-year-old Kanhaiya Lal was killed on Tuesday by two guys who recorded the crime. In a later video, Riaz Akhtari and Gos Mohammad boasted about the murder and made threats against Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Several hours after the murder, Akhtari and Mohammad were detained. Later, two additional persons were detained who were reportedly responsible for both the purported plot to assassinate Kanhaiya and a reconnaissance of his store.
Today, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) court in Jaipur heard arguments. Numerous attorneys screamed “Pakistan Murdabad” and “Kanhaiya ke hatyaron ko fansi do” (grant death sentence to Kanhaiya’s killers) since there were numerous police presences on the court grounds.
Additionally, the court today gave the NIA custody of the murderers until July 12.
The case has been registered under the stringent Unlawful Activities Prevention Act (UAPA) and is being investigated by the NIA with support from the Anti-Terrorist Squad and Special Operations Group (SOG) of the Rajasthan Police.
