Kangana calls BMC demolition ‘fascist’, Bombay HC orders stay and asks reply from the civic body

Actor Kangana Ranaut said Mumbai to PoK and even Pakistan today as BMC demolished alleged illegal constructions at her office in the middle of her row with Shiv Sena. Visuals showed a bulldozer at work at her office.

The 33-year-old actor alleges that the Maharashtra government is targeting her because of her fight with the Shiv Sena.

Kangana Ranaut wrote in a series of tweets.

Her advocates have moved to the Bombay High Court to try and stop the action. They claimed there was an order against any demolition till September 30 because of COVID.

The BMC notice had listed 14 violations at her office in Mumbai’s Pali Hills.

The actor, given Y-Plus security by the central government, was accompanied by cops as she prayed at a temple in Kothi, Himachal Pradesh, on her way to Chandigarh for her flight to Mumbai.

Bombay HC has now put a stay on BMC’s demolition drive. It has asked BMC to file a reply on actor’s petition.
