Even after four days in theatres, Aamir Khan’s most recent movie, “Laal Singh Chaddha,” has not performed well at the box office. It seems to have affected the actor.
Aamir seemed to be in shock with the failure of “Laal Singh Chaddha,” according to a Bollywood Hungama report.
According to a close friend of the actor and his ex-wife Kiran Rao, who spoke to the entertainment portal, Aamir had put a lot of effort into creating the finest “Forrest Gump” he could, thus the rejection has “hit him very hard.”
According to reports, Aamir has accepted responsibility for the movie’s failure as a co-producer and is striving to make up for the significant losses suffered by distributors at least partially.
Since the film’s announcement by the producers, there has been a lot of talk online. It was trending recently on Twitter as well, but not for the proper reasons. On the microblogging platform, netizens used the hashtag #BoycottLaalSinghChaddha to urge others not to see the film.
Aamir has also caused controversy on social media for previous comments he made against intolerance in the nation. All of this is alleged to have had an impact on “Laal Singh Chaddha’s” business.
The film has made Rs 37.96 crore in four days.
‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ is directed by Advait Chandan. The film is produced by Aamir Khan Productions, Kiran Rao, and Viacom18 Studios. Kareena Kapoor Khan, Mona Singh, and Naga Chaitanya all play significant parts in it as well. It is an authorised remake of the Forrest Gump movie from Hollywood.
