The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) followed by announcements on Jammu and Kashmir’s reorganisation, announced rules to the extend Covid19 guidelines till November 30.

Ministry of Home Affairs announced the ‘Unlock 5 Guidelines’. MHA issued notification which provides the details of all activities which are permitted during this pandemic. Cinema Halls, theatres and multiplexes will remain open with 50 percent seating capacity.
Things which will remain open includes: metro rails, shopping malls, hotel, restaurants and hospitality services, religious places, yoga and training institutes, gymnasiums, cinemas, entertainment park etc. For International travel permission from MHA is required.
Notification reads: “Since the issuance of the first Order on lockdown measures by MHA on March 24 2020, almost all activities have been gradually opened up in areas outside the Containment Zones. While most of the activities have been permitted, some activities involving a large number of people, have been allowed with some restrictions and subject to SOPs being followed regarding health and safety precautions.”
