MS Dhoni is receiving Ayurvedic knee therapy in Ranchi, India

MS Dhoni is undergoing treatment from a local ‘vaidya’ for knee pain after complaining of discomfort in both knees. Vaidyas are Ayurveda practitioners who specialize in the treatment and healing of ailments. Dhoni is said to be receiving treatment from a local doctor in Ranchi.

Doctor Vandan Singh advises his patients to drink herbal milk, which he prepares himself. As far as he knew, Dhoni had taken one dosage of the drug a month previously, but the exact date was unknown to him. Dhoni’s fame only came to light when people started snapping photographs with the celebrity, a medical practitioner stated in a video that has now gone viral.

According to a Times Now News story, Dhoni’s parents had been seeing the expert for two to three months before Dhoni joined them. Informed the doctor that he was experiencing pain in both knees, and was given a dose of an INR 40 drug per the doctor’s recommendation.

Dhoni’s next IPL appearance will be in 2023.

In August 2020, when no teams were playing any matches because to the lockdown, MS Dhoni announced his retirement from international cricket. Against New Zealand in the 2019 World Cup semi-finals, he was run out of the game and never returned to international duty. Since then, he has only appeared in IPL games wearing the yellow shirt of the Chennai Super Kings.

In advance of this year’s Indian Premier League, MS Dhoni had opted to stand down as captain and throw the mantle over to Ravindra Jadeja, one of the best all-rounders in CSK and the Indian side. Jadeja’s inability to concentrate on his game as the team’s leader was evident, though. After losing a few games in the first few weeks of the season, CSK’s management opted to bring back MS Dhoni as the team’s captain.

Even though he announced his participation in the IPL this year, declaring that 2022 wouldn’t be his last season, the veteran will be seen playing for CSK again next year, in the IPL 2023.
