UTTARAKHAND: After Kamran in Bareily and Babar Ali who were killed by Muslims for supporting BJP, Here comes a piece of shocking news from Rudrapur, Uttarakhand where a Muslim family was beaten up by other Muslims for supporting the Bhartiya Janata Party in the 2022 elections of Uttarakhand.
According to the police report, the family of four-member, including a teenage girl, were severely injured by local Muslims on April 5, who accused the family of a “kaafir” and “betraying Islam” for supporting a saffron party in the state assembly election.
According to Satish Kapri, in charge of the local police chowki, said, “The case has been registered against five people by name while one is still unidentified in the matter. Further action is being taken and a search operation to catch the accused is going on.”
Anees Mian Guddu, a member of the BJP and has been threatened before by local Muslims and asked to not support the Hindu party as he is a Muslim.
Mian’s wife told police, on the evening of April 5, a bunch of Islamists came to their shop including Yunus, his wife Reshma, Yunus’s brother Irfan, Shakeel and his wife. They were carrying weapons with them and started abusing the duo while her husband was beaten by others Jahan attacked her with a knife, leaving both wounded the mob left for the house of victims to teach their children a lesson too.
Mian’s wife further said that their neighbours tried to stop them when they tried to file a police complaint. Police have filed a complaint against the accused, under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code, including rioting and assault.
