“No Justification For Terrorism”, MEA Comes In Support Of France Over ‘Radical Islamism’

India has come in support of France over radical Islamism rising all over France from quite a few days followed by the incident took place in France of beheading of a teacher by a Muslim immigrant two weeks ago.

Government by issuing an official statement on Wednesday, “strongly deplores the personal attacks in unacceptable language on President Emmanuel Macron in violation of the most basic standards of international discourse”.

Ministry of External Affairs condemns by saying that “the brutal terrorist attack that took the life of a French teacher in a gruesome manner that has shocked the world”. Government of India offers condolences to the people of France and their families. “There is no justification for terrorism for any reason or under any circumstance,” the statement added.

People from India offered condolences and expressed solidarity with France since the incident where middle-school teacher Samuel Paty was beheaded by the 18-year-old Abdullakh Anzorov inside a school near Paris on October 16.

After the incident France President Emmanuel Macron called it an act of Islamist terrorism after it emerged that the Muslim immigrant had taken offence to Paty showing his students Charlie Hebdo cartoons depicting the Prophet Muhammad, in a class on freedom of expression.

Teacher had already had given the option to students to not attend the classes. Though, Anzorov was shot dead by police later, this murder is one of the many Islamist terror attacks France has suffered in the last two decades. Macron described the Paty as “compatriot killed for teaching children freedom of speech”, which supports and initiates the debate over Radical Islamism in France. Several rallies have organised over radical Islamism in France, Islamic chauvinistic people posted online abuse all over Internet against Macron and authorities.
