Nokia 5.3 Launched in India: Price, Specifications

HMD Global-owned Nokia is making a comeback in the Indian smartphone market by launching affordable smartphones starting today. 

 

Nokia has confirmed the launch of its latest Nokia 5.3 in its Twitter posts the previous week. The smartphone sports a round rear camera module, with a quad-camera array consisting of a 13MP primary sensor, a 5MP secondary sensor, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro lens.

Right below the camera sits the fingerprint sensor. As for specifications, Nokia 5.3 sports a 6.55-inch notched display. The smartphone will run on Android 10 and will be powered by a Snapdragon 665 chipset. It is backed by a 4,000mAh battery with support for 10W charging.  

The pricing of the latest Nokia 5.3 in India has been set at Rs. 13,999 for the base 4GB+ 64GB storage variant while its 6GB+64GB storage option carries a price tag of Rs.15,499. The smartphone comes in Cyan, Sand, and Charcol colour options.

It will be up for purchase starting September 1, though its pre-orders are live through the Nokia site.
