Over 350 Kashmiri pandit resign from their post after Rahul Bhat shot dead in govt office   

JAMMU AND KASHMIR: After Rahul Bhat was shot down in office, Kashmiri pandits took the biggest step. Mass resignation by more than 350 Kashmiri pandits who were government employees in Kashmir. Resignation has been sended to Lt. Governor Manoj Sinha.

Kashmiri pandits are scared to do their day to day work as they are not feeling safe anywhere.

Lashkar-e-Taiba are now Unstoppable. On  Thursday they openly entered the government office in Budgam district in central Kashmir and gunned down Kashmiri pandits. Their target was to kill and drew strong condemnation from political parties and employees’ association

It’s not the first time when Kashmiri pandits were killed in Jammu and Kashmir.

Earlier a (35) year old man Rahul Bhat, who was posted in Tehsil office in Chadoora under a special employment package for Kashmiri Pandit migrants. He were shooter in his office and when rushed to the SMHS Hospital in Srinagar, he succumbed due to several injuries.

Later, Kashmir Tigers claimed responsibility for the killing.

According to the reports: Both the terrorists were in Lashkar-e-Taiba outfit, around 4:30 pm they entered the Tehsil office, when all the employees were present in the office and directly shot at Bhat.

Rahul was a simple person who worked for the government for almost eight years. He has a very small family with his father who is a retired police officer, his wife and five year old daughter at Sheikhpura in Budgam district
