Pakistani Hard Rock band ‘Strings’ to disband after 33 years, Fans demand one last Concert

It was indeed an agony for fellow Rock Music Enthusiasts when they learned that one of their favorite bands is about to call quits. The popular Pakistani  Hard Rock band, ‘Strings’, decided to conclude their journey. Fans were heartbroken with this news and demanded one last farewell concert.

‘Strings’, is basically a hard-rock band hailing from Pakistan. It was started by two members, plus four live band members. It was initially formed by four college students- Bilal Maqsood, Faisal Kapadia, Rafiq Wazir Ali, and Karim Bashir Bhoy in 1988.

Ever since then, they have performed at various music fests and concerts worldwide. As a matter of fact, they indeed are a good band to vibe to.

Being signed with record labels such as Columbia Records, Sony BMG Music Entertainment, and many more, they established themselves as professionals in their college days.

‘Strings’ not only specializes in hard rock but also in Alternative Rock, Heavy Metal, Pop Rock, Pop Music, and World Pop.

Some of the popular songs from the band to vibe to are, ‘The National Anthem of Pakistan’, which was aired through Coke Studio, ‘Yeh Hain Meri Zindagi’, ‘Dhaani’, ‘Naina’, ‘Titliyaan’, ‘Mera Bichraa Yaar‘, and many more.

All was well until the announcement from the band was publicized through Instagram.

They declared, “Hey guys, this post is a little different from the usual. We have decided that today, 25/03/2021, we get to graciously conclude STRINGS. The past 33 years have been incredible for both of us. It’s so rare to have the chance to be able to do things like this and we are infinitely grateful to all of our fans for making it possible. We hope you found it worthwhile as well :)”.

Fans were heartbroken and took to Instagram to share their views for the same.
