Prime Minister Narendra Modi communicated with IPS probationers through a video conference on Friday. While the interaction with a lady IPS probationer, Modi stated that we need to prevent young from joining terrorist groups in Kashmir. He said that women officers could be more helpful in making the youth understand the result of joining the terror groups and stop them from doing so.

PM Modi urged the IPS probationers of practising Yoga and Pranayam for relieving tension. “If you do any work from your heart, you will always benefit. You will never feel stressed no matter how much work is there,” he said.
The human face of ‘Khaki’ uniform has been fixed in the public memory due to the good work done by police, especially during this COVID-19 pandemic, the PM said.
PM Modi requested the IPS probationers to be proud of your uniform instead of posing the power of your uniform. He requested to them to never lose the respect for the ‘Khaki’ uniform.
The PM communicated with the IPS probationers during the ‘Dikshant Parade’ event at the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy.
During the basic course training at SVP NPA, probationers are given training in various subjects like law, investigation, forensics, leadership and management, criminology, public order and internal security, ethics & human rights, modern Indian policing, fieldcraft and tactics, weapon training and firing.
