The work of laying the foundation will start at the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya from today. On Monday, there was much chaos regarding this in Lucknow. Nripendra Mishra, chairman of the temple construction committee of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra Trust, reached Lucknow on Monday. Later, he left for Ayodhya.
According to sources, two machines that will dig up to 100 feet deep in the ground for the foundation of the temple reached the Ram Janmabhoomi campus on Sunday. The foundation will be dug with the Kasagrand machine from Kanpur. This machine will dig the foundation for the pillar. This digging is to be done to a depth of about 200 meters. Some more machines will soon reach Ayodhya for this work.
Larsen and Toubro (L&T) engineers were busy preparing these machines on Monday as well. Larger machines will be taken from the Ram Janmabhoomi complex at gate number three. The process of removing the dilapidated temples at the construction site of the Ram temple has already started. Apart from the birthplace – Sita Rasoi and Bahraich temple, the building of Sakshi Gopal temple has been demolished. Apart from this, preparations are also being made to demolish Anand Bhawan including Manas Bhawan, Kohbar Bhawan and Ramkhajana.
Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust’s general secretary Champat Rai has said that the construction of the Ram mandir at Ayodhya would begin after September 17 after the fortnight-long ‘Pitru Paksha’ ends.
