Randeep Hooda has a classic message for parents on his Birthday

The insider-outsider debate is rife in Bollywood. Actor Randeep Hooda who celebrates his 44th birthday on August 20, recalls in this video of his that he has gone through his fair share of struggle to achieve in the industry. Originally from the state of Haryana, Randeep Hooda has starred in many acclaimed films and has won hearts with his celestial performances in Highway, Once Upon a Time in Mumbai, and Sultan.

In a speech that he gave at a school in Haryana’s Jhajjar district, Randeep Hooda highlights the role that guardians have in helping their children thrive. He acknowledges times have changed now.

He tells guardians that if they feel, or if their kid feels there is a different field in which they would exceed expectations, at that point, that thought ought to be roused, not subdued. Hooda accepts there is nothing of the sort as ‘talent’; there is just eagerness. If one practices, buckles down, and offers time to their inclinations, they will positively become ‘talented’, he says.

“First of all, please don’t kill your child from within. And secondly, if they are interested in something, even if you’re a stamp collector, there will always be takers, and you’ll always be successful,” he concludes his speech.
