Bangalore: Indian players from the IPL ‘s Royal Challengers Bangalore will hit Bengaluru in a couple of days before heading to the UAE. According to RCB Chairman Sanjeev Churiwala, the team will fly out on 21 or 22 August or about that time.

“The players would start assembling in a few days and after reaching Bengaluru, they will follow the protocol as decided by the BCCI’s standard operating procedures (SOP). They will be staying in a selected hotel before leaving the country. Tests will be done as per the SOP. All Indian players and the support staff will be flying out in a chartered plane,” said Churiwala
Regardless of the pandemic, the IPL, scheduled for September 19 to November 10, will be different from other seasons. Teams will follow strict guidelines, and there will be daily monitoring. This would also limit players and their families inside the bio-bubble.
