The Breathtaking Tulip Garden of Srinagar is open for all now, PM urges citizens to visit

The breathtaking Tulip Garden of Srinagar capital of Kashmir is open for all now. The garden is considered one of the biggest with about 1.5 million tulips. To promote this astonishing beauty of nation Prime Minister Narender Modi appealed to citizens on Wednesday with a tweet to visit the garden on the opening in Dal Lake on he foothills of Himalayan.

Prime Minister tweeted with a caption: ” Tomorrow, 25th March is special for Jammu and Kashmir. A majestic tulip garden on the foothills of the Zabarwan Mountains will open for visitors. The Garden will see over 15 lakh flowers of more than 64 varieties in bloom.”

Mayor of the town Junaid Mattu also tweeted regarding the same stating, “As our Tulip Garden in Srinagar opens for visitors tomorrow, as the Mayor of Srinagar I welcome you, your friends and your families to Srinagar! We are a city with a heart and a warmth that beckons! Srinagar awaits your arrival!”

The National General Secretary of Bhartiya Janta Party Dushyan Kumar Gautam also tweeted motivating people to visit the garden. ” The beautiful tulip garden on the foothills of the Zabarwan Mountains in #JammuAndKashmir will open for visitors tomorrow. Hon’ble PM Shri @narendramodi Ji urges everyone to visit J&K to witness the scenic #TulipFestival.”

According to the reports, garden have 1.5 million of tulips wit 64 varieties and will be bloomed by end of this month and the view of this dazzling garden will last till four weeks. This year we have additional 200,000 tulip bulbs to the 30-hectare terraced garden. Even last time 1.3 million tulip bloomed but with the lockdown due to Covid -19 people weren’t able to see the view.
