1. India’s New Parliament Waiting      For The Supreme Court’s                Order…

The construction of the new parliament’s building will have to wait till the Supreme Court delivers its verdict on the series of pleas opposing the project. The Apex Court expressed displeasure this week over the Centre. Questions arises that when the Apex Court has not allowed the construction then why laying the foundation in haste?

This issue has been raised in the petition before Supreme Court citing the environmental impact. It has mostly to do with the timing and the way Centre has gone ahead “aggressively with the construction”.

2. Government’s Proposal To              Farmers, Ready For Further            Talks on 7 Amendments.. 

Union Agricultural Minister Narendra Singh Tomar said that the centre is ready for further talks. He said, “The government is ready to consider with an open mind any provision in the new laws where farmers have any issues and we want to clarify all their apprehensions. There is no ego issue.” The Centre said that the repealing of law is not an option, noting that any law cannot be entirely defective.

3. Facebook Could Loose                    Instagram and WhatsApp..

It was highly expected that Facebook Inc. could be forced to sell its acquired business entities or assets hinting Instagram and WhatsApp after the US Federal Trade Commission’s legal action and most importantly after almost every US state has filed a ‘anti-trust’ lawsuit against the major tech giant.

These accusations have things in common as Facebook’s ‘Buy or Bury’ strategies in the market to keep the competition limited and less threatening is criticised by every lawsuit filed.

Since the beginning of this year, the number of lawsuits filed accusing big techs have been the most common newspaper headline. Facebook has become the second tech company with the highest number of lawsuits and the company with the highest number of legal cases going on after the Alphabet.

4. SpaceX’s Starships Explodes          During Landing…

SpaceX’s Starship Aircrafts after travelling several kilometres into the sky in a test flight but suffered a spectacular explosion during its vertical landing as it failed to slow down adequately.

Six and a half minute was the highest flight and when it reached the ground, it engulfed in flame and ruptured. Musk was, however, satisfied, calling it a “successful ascent”. “We got all the data we needed!” he tweeted.

Contemporary Indian dancer Astad Deboo, known for amalgamating the Indian and the Western dancing technique, which is considered to be one of its kind in the world lost his life on Thursday. His family informed about this sad news, he was 73 years old.

He was a professional dancer efficient in both Kathak and Kathakali forms of classical dancing. He is renowned for mixing the best of both the worlds and creating his own way of unique and charismatic style of dancing.
6. Indian-American Raja Chari’            Among 18 Astronauts Selected      For NASA’s Manned Moon              Mission
Raja Jon Vurputoor Chari, an Indian-American US Air Force colonel, is among 18 astronauts, half of them women, who have been selected by NASA for its ambitious manned mission to the Moon and beyond.

NASA on Wednesday named the 18 astronauts who will train for its Artemis moon-landing programme. Chari, 43, a graduate of the US Air Force Academy, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and US Naval Test Pilot School, is the only Indian-American in the list. He was selected by NASA to join the 2017 Astronaut Candidate Class.

7. TIME’s Person of The Year              2020: Joe Biden and Kamala          Harris

US President-elect Joe Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris have been chosen as Time magazine ” Time’s Person of The Year 2020″ the publication announced Thursday. The Democratic pair were chosen ahead of three other finalists: frontline Health Care workers and Anthony Fauci, the Racial Justice movement, and President Donald Trump who Biden defeated in November’s election.

8. UK Starts Covid Vaccination,          90 Year Old Keenan Gets First        Pfizer Shot..

A 90 year old woman has become the first patient in the world to receive the first Pfizer Covid19 vaccine. NHS has launched its biggest vaccine campaign and after the approval in the United Kingdom.

Commencing the historic mass vaccination programme in the world, Margaret Keenan received the first vaccine dose at 6:31 am in Coventry. This is considered by far the largest in the NHS’s 73 year history.

9. Apple AirPods Max is Apple’s        first over-ear headset..

Rumored for weeks, Apple has finally revealed its brand-new product range–Headphones. The first in the series is called the Max AirPods. Driven by the H1 chipset, which is the same as that used in AirPods, AirPods Max is said to feature ‘advanced tech for powering computational audio.’

Headphones are priced at $549 (and Rs59,900 in India) and will be sold in India as of 15 December 2020. Is compliant with iOS 14.3 or later, iPad 14.3 or later, macOS Big Sur 11.1 or later, watchOS 7.2 or later, or tvOS 14.3 or later.

India’s richest and the chairman of Reliance Industries Limited Mukesh Ambani said optimistically that Indian economy will not only recover but will grow with unprecedented escalation.

While speaking at the Indian Mobile Congress 2020 said that the change in policies are needed in urgency to bring smartphones to another 300 million users who are still stuck in 2G phones and facing a technological gap in between. He felt the need to roll out 5G early.
