Both the newly sworn President and Vice President have delivered their oath-taking speeches at the US Capitol. In his first remarks after becoming 46th American President said, “Here we stand days after a riotous mob thought they could silence the will of the people. It will not happen, not today, not tomorrow, not ever — not ever.”

US President Joe Biden said while referencing the current plight of people present at the inaugural address, country has “much to repair, much to restore, much to heal, much to build and much to gain.”
