MORADABAD: A doctor from Moradabad district of Uttar Pradesh gets “Death fatwa” from his own community members after showing Flowers at (RSS) Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh rally.
This incident happened when RSS members were doing a rally on the occasion of gudi padwa on April 2.
Dr Mohammad Nizam Bharti and his family members actively participated in the event and showered flowers on the members of RSS who were doing the rally.
After that, A cleric named Hafiz Imran Warsi issued a ‘death fatwa’ to Dr. Mohammad Nizam Bharti for supporting RSS.
Later, Dr Mohammad Nizam Bharti filed a complaint against the death fatwa and he said “I am a Muslim and I am also a nationalist.”
Hafiz has been arrested on Tuesday
Warsi also issued a bounty of Rs 1 lakh against Dr Mohammad Nizam Bharti. The bounty clearly stated that anyone will be rewarded with an amount of Rs 1 lakh for killing the doctor, reports said.
According to the CCTV footage it shows pamphlets of the fatwa being distributed to the people.
