UP CM Yogi Adityanath inaugurates LuLu Mall in Lucknow, generates 10,000 jobs

Yogi Adityanath, the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, on Sunday inaugurated Lulu Mall in Lucknow, the largest shopping centre owned by the LuLu Group International. He looked over the mall’s main draws, such as the enormous LuLu Hypermarket and the Funtura family entertainment centre.

At the opening ceremony were Yusuffali MA, chairman of the Lulu Group, Satish Mahana, speaker of the UP Legislative Assembly, and Dinesh Sharma, a former deputy chief minister. The Lulu Mall is a component of the project that was unveiled during the major investors’ meeting held in Lucknow in February 2018 and attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

It is the 235th and largest initiative of the Lulu Group. With a 22-lakh square foot footprint, the mega mall is predicted to employ 4,800 people directly and 10,000 people indirectly. There are 15 fine dining establishments and cafés in the mall, and a huge food court with 25 brand shops that can seat 1,600 people. The mall also has a dedicated shopping arena that carries the best jewellery, clothing and watch brands. The mall includes a dedicated 11-story parking lot covering 7 lakh square feet for more than 3,000 automobiles.

Lulu Group International presently owns five malls in the nation. The other four are located in Thrissur, Thiruvananthapuram, Bengaluru, and Kochi.

Chairman of the Lulu Group, Yusuffali M.A said, “I met chief minister Yogi Adityanath ji in 2018 and presented the details of the Lulu Lucknow. He instantly said that you start the work, the government will support (you). I would like to thank him and the Government of Uttar Pradesh for all the support.”
