UP Congress launches a calendar featuring Priyanka Gandhi’s “Struggle of Public Issues”

The Congress is all set to reach out to people ahead of Uttar Pradesh Assembly Elections, 2022. In addition to efforts, Congress has released a calender featuring party’s general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra.

This calendar features incidents where Priyanka Gandhi stood up for the cause and raised her voice. The first page of the calendar features photo of Priyanka Vadra with the women family members of victims of Umbha (Sonbhadra) massacre.

This special edition of the annual calendar featuring Priyanka Gandhi Vadra will be distributed among the people on Friday. Another picture in the calendar shows her protecting her party workers from the police lathicharge in Hathras while they were heading towards the place to meet the family of a gangrape victim.

There also consists of a picture, where she was seen wiping the tears of a minor girl in Azamgarh during Anti-CAA and NRC protests. Her visit to Lucknow, Amethi, Rae Bareli, Varanasi, Ujjain, Haryana and Jharkhand have also been shown in the calendar.

UP Congress Organisation Secretary, Anil Yadav said, “AICC has sent 1 million calendars to the party in the state. Our leaders and party men are reaching out to the people during the Sangthan Srajan campaign. We propose to begin to distribute the calendars during this campaign. Hopefully, west UP districts will begin the distribution on Friday.”
