A team of Uttar Pradesh police officials have arrived Mumbai to investigate the case which was filed against streaming giant Amazon Prime Video and its series ‘Tandav’. The entire cast and crew may participate in the interrogation amidst massive demand to remove scenes which deteriorating the image of Hinduism and insulting Hindu Gods.

As per report by the NDTV, Home Minister of Maharashtra, Anil Deshmukh said that the UP police will investigate the entire matter by coming in Mumbai. He told media, “We have received a complaint over Tandav. We will take action according to the law. Since it is an OTT film, the Central government must be bringing in laws so that social fault lines are not created.”
