Vodafone-Idea launches new brand logo ‘Vi’ ; CEO Ravinder Takkar calls it a “brand of tomorrow”

Vodafone-Idea launched their new logo ‘Vi‘ as their unique brand identification. This logo is pronounced as ‘We‘ basically.

This logo is a representation of the two brands such as merging both Telcos companies using Yellow and Red colour in the logo.

Vodafone on the occasion of new brand announcement, launched a new brand logo as well as new Vi app. The company has launched a programme through which users can participate and can win exciting gifts such as Netflix, GoPro subscription free of cost and more. It has called ‘Happy Surprises’ and one has to find the Vi logo in the app.

The unique and customized ringtone from the Vi website or app can be downloaded by the Vodafone users and Non-Vodafone users as well. Once you enter your number you’ll get your ringtone.

Ravinder Takkar, MD & CEO of Vodafone Idea Limited said, “The brand integration not only marks the completion of the largest telecom merger in the world, but also sets us on our future journey to offer world class digital experiences to 1 Billion Indians on our strong 4G network. VIL is now leaner and agile, and the deployment of many principles of 5G architecture has helped us transform into a future-fit, digital network for changing customer needs.”

The two company merged on 31 August, 2018 and while both the brands merged then also they continued to maintain their self identification.

That’s why we believe that now is the perfect time to launch Vi, one company which combines the strengths of Vodafone and Idea. Vi’s focus will be to deliver to citizens and businesses in India a superior network experience, better customer service and leading products and services”, said Nick Read, CEO of Vodafone Group Plc.

A new promotional and brand video has been released representing brand ‘Vi’.
