WhatsApp to roll out vacation mode in Android soon

WhatsApp has brought back its outstanding Vacation mode feature in the latest Android beta update. Along with this, other features including the auto-archive chats are also being tested by the app. All the features are currently under development. WhatsApp will make it available for the users officially only when it is free of bugs.

As per Wabetainfo,  “WhatsApp has decided to implement the Vacation Mode again, under a new form! There will be a new dedicated section for the Vacation Mode, that allows choosing different parameters. When the new feature is enabled, Archived chats will be moved to the top of your chats list,” mentioned in a report.

The Vacation mode will allow users to mute notifications from archived chats. However, in the latest update, it was found that the app will give two options to users to deal with their archived chats. The Notify New Messages and Auto Hide inactive chats option. The first option will let the users know about the messages from the archived chats and the second option will hide chats that have been inactive for six months.

WhatsApp had stopped working on this feature in the past but now it will hopefully make the feature available to all users.
