Actress, Yami Gautam and Punjabi singer, Diljit Dosanjh are likely to star in the same movie again. The duo was supposed to cast in a film produced by Ramesh Taurani and directed by Haroon, Aziz Mirza’s son earlier in 2018.
After the success of ‘SOORMA‘ in 2018 and ‘GOOD NEWZ‘ in 2019, Dosanjh in an interview said ‘ he opted out of the Haroon’s movie due to date issues and he wasn’t too convinced with the script.’ Due to which Haroon’s project had to be put at hold.
But now, Yami and Diljit are all set to work together again. Yami is yet to sign but the casting crew is working with pace. If all goes well, the film will be directed by Shaad Ali featuring Yami Gautam and Diljit Dosanjh.
The shoot will take place in Nainital, Uttrakhand from the third and fourth week of October, 2020. This would be a rom-com and it would be great to see such talented actors working opposite each other.
